During the Hammerfest Sightseeing Tale you will experience the following Tour Highlights: - Museum of Reconstruction - We will start our tour at the Museum of Reconstruction, a museum dedicated to showcasing the incredible resilience and rebuilding efforts of the Finnmark after World War II. - Salen - We will continue our journey to Salen viewpoint where you will get the chance to see Hammerfest from above, offering you also a breathtaking view of the surrounding islands. - UNESCO World Heritage Struve's Geodetic Arc - Of course, a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage site in Hammerfest is mandatory. Hammerfest had been the northernmost part of the first transnational scientific project from 1815 which played a pivotal role in accurately measuring the size and shape of the Earth. It is a hidden testament to human ingenuity and the quest for knowledge and there you will hear all about it. - Fuglenesodden - We will conclude the tour at the historic location of Fuglenesodden. It does not only offer breathtaking scenic vistas but gives you also insights into how people lived in Hammerfest at the end of the 18th century.
