Before embarking an adventure with Finnmark Tales, we advise you to read our terms and conditions. If anything seems unclear, please contact us. We request that any customer reads the information in the trips description as well as the information received after booking thoroughly, in order to determine eligibilty for the tour.

2. BOOKING, AND PAYMENT
Private individuals must book our tours through our website. Prices are listed in Norwegian kroner and include everything essential for your tour. Full payment is required at the time of booking. Payments are made by card, but bank transfer is also possible on request.

By making a payment, participants agree to our terms and conditions.

3. PRICES
All prices mentioned are per person. All necessary equipment for our tours is included in the quoted price. This might include transportation, guides, and taxes. Flights to Hammerfest aren’t included in any package. Each tour’s specifics are detailed on its respective webpage. Personal clothing in not included in the price.
4. CANCELLATION
We offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure on tours conducted by Finnmark Tales for 1–7 persons. If you cancel 24 hours or more before your tour, you will receive a full 100% refund.
Any cancellation 24 hours or less before departure is non-refundable. This also includes illness, delayed or cancelled flights, ferries, or any other circumstances not caused by Finnmark Tales (Wagner Tours & Guiding). Missed departures are considered a no-show and are non-refundable.
If we are able to resell your cancelled seats, we will still provide you with a full refund, even after the 24-hour deadline. For this reason, we strongly recommend valid travel insurance covering delays, cancellations, or sickness.
4.1. CANCELLATION GROUPS
Groups which have booked a tour with Finnmark Tales are grantes a free cancellation period up to 14 days before the tour date. If cancelled later than these deadlines, the full payment will be charged.

4.2. CANCELLED TRIPS
We may cancel trips due to insufficient participants. In such cases, full refunds will be provided. However, we aren’t liable for other related expenses, like airfare, accommodations, or equipment.

5. DATE CHANGES
Requests to change the date of a booking are treated as a cancellation and new booking, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. MEETING TIME
Guests must arrive at the meeting point latest 10 minutes before departure. Please be on time, as missed departures are considered a no-show and are non-refundable.

7. EQUIPMENT LIST
Participating in an arctic adventure in Finnmark requires some preparation concerning gear. For a detailed equipment list tailored to your chosen trip, check its respective page on our website. We strongly advise keeping to the list since it will ensure a safe and enjoyable journey in the Norwegian Arctic.

8. TRAVEL INSURANCE
We strongly recommend that all participants have valid travel insurance covering illness, delayed or cancelled flights or boats, missed connections, and other unforeseen events. This protects you from costs outside the control of Finnmark Tales.
9. WEATHER AND TOUR CONDITIONS
Northern Norway’s weather can be unpredictable, but we don’t cancel or refund tours due to cloudy or rainy weather. A security assessment will be made according to driving regulations of Norwegian law and the customer will be updated as soon as possible.

​​10. UNEXPECTED COSTS
Unexpected delays can occur, and costs resulting from delays due to traffic, weather, accidents, or other unforeseen events aren’t included in the trip price.
11. GEAR
We always have the necessary gear on hand to ensure rapid and effective assistance should any unforeseen event occur. Additionally, we always carry comprehensive first aid kits with us.

12. HEALTH AND MEDICINE
Your health and safety during our arctic adventure tours are very important. If you have any medical concerns or require specific medications, please inform us ahead of time. After consulting with a healthcare professional, we will make necessary accommodations to ensure your safety during the trip. If you require a doctor’s consultation while in Hammerfest, we will gladly arrange it for you.
We reserve the right to decline participants if we deem the trip too physically or mentally challenging for them. In such cases, a full refund will be provided.
If you have health challenges, it’s crucial to discuss with your doctor any potential risks, especially concerning the Arctic’s cold conditions, physical demands, medications, or past surgeries.

13. YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
Participants carry the responsibility for choosing a tour that matches their interests and physical capabilities. If unsure, please reach out to us. Participants must also disclose any health conditions that might affect the trip.
Participants are also expected to dress appropriately for the Arctic climate, considering essentials like thermal underwear, warm shoes, mittens, scarves, and windproof outerwear. Especially during winter tours it is of great importance to choose clothing that will let you enjoy the outdoors and staying safe.
Our guides value respectful and inclusive behavior from all participants. Building friendly relations with fellow travelers, who might come from diverse backgrounds, enhances the tour experience. Participants are also expected to abide by local laws, and the use of illegal drugs or violation of Norwegian law is strictly prohibited. Additionally, smoking inside our vehicles isn’t allowed.
14. AGE
Participants must be at least 18 years old on the day of the trip. However, those under 18 may join if accompanied by someone 18 years or older.
15. WARRANTY
We make sure that our tours are of high quality, meeting your expectations is taking very seriously by us. However, we cannot control natural phenomena. We will never be able to guarantee that you will see the Northern Lights or any other natural phenomena.
16. PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Finnmark Tales (Wagner Tours & Guiding) will not be responsible or liable for loss, theft, or damage to any personal belongings, clothing, footwear, or other items left at our premises, in vehicles, or in any other location under our control while guests participate in our tours or activities.
Guests are solely responsible for their own property at all times. Finnmark Tales (Wagner Tours & Guiding) shall not, under any circumstances, be held liable for any direct or indirect loss, cost, or damage arising from misplaced, forgotten, stolen, or accidentally exchanged items (such as jackets, shoes, or other belongings).
The mentioned incidents and other are normally covered by travel insurance, and guests are therefore strongly advised to ensure they have valid travel insurance that covers loss or damage to personal property, in addition to unforeseen events such as illness, delays, or cancellations.

17. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
Finnmark Tales (Wagner Tours & Guiding), its guides, owners, shareholders, employees, or agents are not liable for any negligent or willful acts by participants that lead to personal injury, loss, or damage.
In the event of naturally occurring disruptions, road accidents, equipment malfunction, illness within the group, food poisoning, theft, or other unforeseen events causing trip delays or interruptions, Finnmark Tales (Wagner Tours & Guiding) is not responsible. If a tour has to be canceled due to such reasons, participants can either get a refund or choose another available tour.
18. PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO and MEDIA
All media captured during our excursions, including photos and videos, may be used by Finnmark Tales (Wagner Tours & Guiding) for promotional purposes. By participating, unless explicitly communicated otherwise, participants grant us the right to use and possibly sell these media assets.
If participants don’t wish their images to be used, they should inform us by writing to info@finnmarktales.com. All media produced during the excursions which will be delivered to the participants within 7 days after their tour and are intended for private use only. In case the media would like to be used for commercial use, please contact us beforehand.
If you have any concerns about this, kindly inform us. Our participant’s privacy is very important to us, therefore, we will never use facial images without having received prior consent.
