Service Description
Tour Highlights: Let us take you on one of Hammerfest's most cherished trails: Gammelveien- the old road. Build in an community effort from 1896-98, the path is ideal to experience the breathtaking midnight sun while delving into the rich history of Hammerfest. The Gammelveien is winding up towards Salenfjellet, passing World War II history markers. The Arctic Ocean and surrounding islands will accompany us for a while before we turn to walk on the backside of Mount Salen. The road will lead us also to Salen viewpoint where you will have the full view on Hammerfest from above. We will then descend on Hammerfest's famous zigzag path down to the city center where the tour will end. Tour information: - Your adventure also includes four professional digital photographs, hot beverages like tea or coffee, and a delightful Norwegian pastry to savor along the way (please inform us concerning allergies). - this tour is for active people without any physical impairments - available only during summer (June until September) Dificulty Level: 4 Minimum participants: 2 Private tours available: Can be customized to suit personal preferences and curiosities, please contact us at info@finnmarktales.com

BOOKING, AND PAYMENT Private individuals must book our tours through our website. Prices are listed in Norwegian kroner and include everything essential for your tour. Full payment is required at the time of booking. Payments are made by card, but bank transfer is also possible on request. ​ Any groups wishing to book a tour with Finnmark Tales, can book via e-mail info@finnmarktales.com. ​ By making a payment, participants agree to our terms and conditions. ​ PRICES All prices mentioned are per person. Please notify us about your pick-up location. CANCELLATION We offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure on tours conducted by Finnmark Tales for 1–7 persons. If you cancel 24 hours or more before your tour, you will receive a full 100% refund. Any cancellation 24 hours or less before departure is non-refundable. This also includes illness, delayed or cancelled flights, ferries, or any other circumstances not caused by Finnmark Tales (Wagner Tours & Guiding). Missed departures are considered a no-show and are non-refundable. For this reason, we strongly recommend valid travel insurance covering delays, cancellations, or sickness. Date changes will be treated as cancellations.
