This North Cape Tour is designed for those who appreciate silence, space and the quiet of the far north. Along remote coastlines and wide Arctic landscapes, we travel slowly and consciously, discovering places few visitors reach. Your tour begins in Hammerfest, the world’s largest northernmost city. Here we explore the character of a vibrant city: vast history and beautiful vistas. We will stop at two highlights: 1. Salenfjellet: What feels like the rooftop of Hammerfest city centre offers you excellent view on the Arctic Ocean, the city centre and surrounding islands. 2. North Cape: We will stop at the very edge of Europe's continent, the North Cap, where steep cliffs rise above the Barents Sea. Here, the horizon stretches endlessly into the Arctic. There you will experience the uniqueness of nature as well as the landmark of the North Cape globe monument. Throughout the tour, we also explore the traditions of the Sea Sámi — the indigenous coastal people of Finnmark. Their deep connection to the sea, the land, and the rhythms of the Arctic has shaped life here for centuries. This is not simply a tour.
